Alain Miles blogThere's nothing more exciting for a writer than the kind of opportunity Koobug offers us - to engage directly with our readers. This is my live gig.

As well as showing off my work, I'll tell you a bit about how I write, and get you involved as I work on new stories. Your reactions, questions, comments, applause - even catcalls - show me whether I'm getting through or not ... and help me to become a better artist.

The biographical stuff? I live these days in Manchester, England, though I've spent years in the Mid-East - which explains why my first novel was 'The Lebanese Troubles', the story of Western expats caught up in somebody else's civil war. I love writing crazy stories for thoughtful people. And vice versa. Dip into the 30-minute short, 'Waiting For Orders', and you'll see what I mean.
