Michael Phelps RamblingsAuthor Michael Phelps embarked on the challenging career of a Writer as Co-Author of "DAVID JANSSEN-MY FUGITIVE", with Ellie Janssen (first wife of David Janssen, Star of "THE FUGITIVE") while engaged as Chief Investigator for a prominent Miami (FL) law firm, specializing in criminal defense. Based on the success of this book (1.2 Million copies hardcover & paperback sold worldwide), upon retiring from the law firm, he chose to write Detective and Courtroom novels based on actual cases he worked. "THE EXECUTION OF JUSTICE" is based on the murder of his close friend and one time mentor, Detective Sergeant Jack R. Ohrberg, Robbery & Homicide Division of the Indianapolis Police Department. In this novel, Mr. Phelps created the "Mike Walsh Detective Novels" series. "THE JOCKEY'S JUSTICE", second in the series, is based upon the brutal murder of a winning horse racing jockey in a small Kentucky town. Eight years after the murder, the Jockey's widow and son-in-law are charged with the crime. They retain the law firm and Mr. Phelps & his assistant are tasked with going to Kentucky to find evidence to prove the client's innocence. Mr. Phelps was urged and inspired by many of David Janssen's friends and fans to write "DAVID JANSSEN-Our Conversations", which will be released soon in E-Book format and later in Hardcover.
