The Way To Dawn: Dominion of Eden by Charles Lee is a young adult sci-fi novel that brings us into a story where fates were tested, dreams were broken, and regret filled the air. However, not all is lost; no matter how dark it gets there is always one last ray of hope, one small thing that might help. Afearia embarks on a journey in which she must overcome a king who has made himself ruler of the land, and a land of enemies. Humanity is raw, rules no longer come into play, and there is something to worry about around every corner. She has been raised as a warrior since birth and she knows the realm's future rests on her shoulders.
In one of the better young adult sci-fi books that I have ever read, Charles Lee has a way of writing that draws you into the story. When I first delved into The way To Dawn: Dominion of Eden I did feel a little overwhelmed. A lot of that probably had to do with my not reading the first book in the series. There is a lot of information to take in about the realm and what is going on; however, once I took things on board my reading journey was fantastic. The story of Afearia and all she must handle, how it is more than even she thought. I love a good adventure and when you can feel invested in not only the characters but the land, it makes for a very entertaining read. I would suggest this for any young adult and adult; it is an enjoyable and well written read.
